How to Convert PDF to PowerPoint
This tool converts your PDF pages into individual, editable PowerPoint slides. You can choose the conversion method that best suits your needs.
- Upload Your PDF: Drag and drop your file into the uploader, or click "Select PDF File".
- Choose Conversion Mode:
- Standard Conversion: This is the fastest method and is great for extracting text. Each PDF page becomes a slide with editable text boxes.
- Precise Conversion: This is a slower, more advanced method that tries to perfectly preserve the original layout, fonts, and images as they appeared in the PDF.
- Select Options: Choose your preferred slide orientation, output format (.ppt or .pptx), and other options.
- Convert & Download: Click the "Convert to PowerPoint" button. When finished, your new presentation will be ready to download.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is it safe to upload my PDF files?
Absolutely. We prioritize your privacy and security. All uploaded files are processed securely over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We do not store your data; all files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within one hour after processing is complete.
What's the difference between "Standard" and "Precise" conversion?
Standard is fast and focuses on making the text editable. It's best for documents that are mostly text.
Precise is slower and focuses on making the slide look *exactly* like the PDF page. It's better for presentations with complex layouts, graphics, and specific font styling. The trade-off is that text might be harder to edit.
Will this work on scanned PDFs?
This tool works best on "true" or text-based PDFs. If you convert a scanned PDF (an image of a page), each slide will simply contain the image of that page. The text will not be editable. We are working on adding OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to support scanned PDFs in the future.
What's the difference between PPT and PPTX?
PPTX is the modern format used by Microsoft Office 2007 and all newer versions (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 365). It's the recommended choice.
PPT is the older format used by Office 97-2003. You should only choose this if you need to open the file on a very old computer.
