Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is it safe to upload my PDF files?
Absolutely. We prioritize your privacy and security. All uploaded files are processed securely over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We do not store your data; all files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within one hour after processing is complete.
Will this work on scanned PDFs?
This tool works best on "true" or text-based PDFs where the table data is selectable text. For scanned PDFs (images of tables), the conversion may not be accurate as it cannot read the text from the image. We are working on adding OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to support scanned tables in the future.
Will my formatting be preserved?
Our converter focuses on accurately extracting the *data* and its structure into spreadsheet rows and columns. It tries to preserve the table layout, but complex formatting, merged cells, or unusual layouts may not convert perfectly. The main goal is to make your data editable in Excel.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. To ensure fast processing for all users, we currently have a maximum file size limit of 50MB per PDF.
